How did Gamania go from a small company with no more than a dozen employees to a big corporation with thousands of staff? What crazy initiatives Gamania has launched in the game industry? What miracles it has created? As a Gamanian, knowing the history of Gamania is a prerequisite. Now let\u2019s take the time travel machine back in time and review Gamania\u2019s wild history!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1993 <\/td> Completed two in-house game products, \u2018Warring States\u2019 and \u2018Alien\u2019, and received great result from the market <\/td><\/tr>
1995 <\/td>On April 1st, Full Studio (R&D) and FullSoft (marketing) launched their debut in-house product, Eclipse and instantly received significant commercial success. <\/td><\/tr>
1997 <\/td>Full Studio and FullSoft integrated into FullSoft. Game R&D was temporarily ceased and focused on being agent for Korean and Japanese games <\/td><\/tr>
1999 <\/td> Launched the \u2018Convenience Store\u2019 series. The Chinese version, \u2018Fast Food Shop\u2019 was launched in Taiwan and sold at 1.2 million copies. <\/td><\/tr>
1999 <\/td> (Gamania Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.)\u300d
On November 11th<\/sup>, the title officially changed to Gamania Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. <\/td><\/tr>

2000 <\/td>		 Launched the Korean version of Convenience Store 1 and became widely popular, selling 150,000 copies. <\/td><\/tr>
2000 <\/td> Acquired the Chinese edition license for the online game \u2018Lineage\u2019. Just two weeks after its release in Taiwan, membership surged to 200,000. <\/td><\/tr>
2000 <\/td> Gamania officially listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. <\/td><\/tr>
2003 <\/td> The membership of \u2018Lineage\u2019 in Taiwan reached over 3.5 million benchmark, making it the online game with the largest player base in Taiwan. <\/td><\/tr>
2004 <\/td> Launched the Gamania mobile phone payment system in Taiwan, allowing gamers to purchase GASH points through their mobile phones.\u00a0This made Gamania the first game company in Taiwan to offer an integrated virtual payment system. <\/td><\/tr>
2005 <\/td>Acquired the license for \u2018Maple Story\u2019, the first free leisure online game in Taiwan. This opened up a younger market for online games, setting a new gaming trend. <\/td><\/tr>
2006 <\/td>Debut launch for 5 original online games at the Tokyo Game Show: \u2018Super Rich\u2019, \u2018Bright Shadow\u2019, \u2018Zodiac\u2019 and \u2018AOW\u2019 all of them smash hits with players. <\/td><\/tr>
2007 <\/td>launched the first in-house online game \u2018Bright Shadow\u2019 and created a record of 30,000 instant login players. <\/td><\/tr>
2008 <\/td>In-house produced game, \u2018Lucent Heart\u2019 won the Best Game Award and Best New Star Award in Japan, 2008. <\/td><\/tr>
