The popular sci-fi blockbuster game Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) by SEGA Japan, distributed by Gamania, has released the latest Floating Continent instance. On these islands floating high in the sky, ARKS explorers will not only face all kinds of dragons but also brace themselves against surprise crystal attacks by the big boss Quartz Dragon! As mid-summer approaches, the PSO2 lobby now features a magnificent dragon boat and steamed rice dumplings for decoration. Players that complete the new event-only missions will receive the first Camo Gunslash to be released for the Taiwan edition. In keeping with the hot summer weather in Taiwan, PSO2 has also released the latest sport costumes and Japanese festival yukata, so gamers can stay cool for the burning hot adventures of summer!

The Quartz Dragon is a Fearsome Opponent in the Air and on the Ground with its Crystal Storm Tracer Blasts
The Floating Continent is also known as the Land of Dragons. It is an unusual continent floating in the air that can be seen from the Volcanic Cave and Camp Ship on Amduscia Planet. Scientists hypothesize that the islands floating in the sky are caused by the repelling magnetic forces generated by the crust of Amduscia. On these remote aerial islands, the inhabitants live in complete isolation from the outside world and various races of dragons lead lives based on their own culture.

After establishing contact with different kinds of dragons, gamers will eventually meet with the leader of the dragons and engage the fierce, enormous Quartz Dragon in face-to-face combat. The Quartz Dragon has a giant crystal horn and crystalline wings, and is surprisingly quick for its huge size. It has a devastating ramming attack, shoots a storm of tracers and homing bombs as its area-effect attack, and can even spit sharp crystal spikes from its mouth to maim the enemy! The Quartz Dragon must be defeated to earn the respect of the dragons and collect the object entrusted by the dragons. Will ARKS explorers successfully accomplish their mission this time!?

As temperatures continue to climb in Taiwan, PSO2 has released the new Simple Yukata and Sport Costume to help players avoid heatstroke while exploring. Gamers, change your in-game son or daughter into these new costumes to beat the summer heat! New event-only missions have also been released as part of the new expansion. Gamers who successfully complete challenge missions will have a chance to receive the first Camo Gunslash to be released in the Taiwan edition. It will be available for a limited time only so do not miss out!
