Gamania’s ultra-popular Maple Story game is officially celebrating its 10th anniversary in Taiwan this year. The brand new Shining Star update launched on January 28th, bringing the initial carefree gameplay which players once experienced back. Players will enter the Star World where they can interact with other players online through interactive competitions, mini games, and more. The experience gained will be accumulated in the brand new mileage system, which allows players to redeem it directly for some items in the cash shop. This is an update for players to rekindle the touching experience of their initial carefree gameplay.

Enter Star World to play games with your friends, compete, and earn fantastic rewards in the new mileage system
Remember how moving and carefree gameplay was when Maple Story officially launched in Taiwan 10 years ago? In anticipation of Maple Story’s 10th anniversary, we are once again inviting players to enter Star World. Bridging the division between servers, players can play fun mini games with friends from various servers, like rock paper scissor or typing contests to see who the real champion is. All mileage earned in Star World will accumulate through the brand new mileage system. Of course, in addition to earning mileage through the mini games here, players can also earn mileage by challenging bosses or elite monsters in the regular world. Once players gather enough mileage, they will be able to redeem it directly for some cash shop items like coupons, surprise boxes, expansion coupons, cubes, and more. Players can also use mileage for a discount on purchases, up to 30%.
