Adventurous Gamanians dare to top themselves, in 2011 they carried out the spirit of revolution and created many glorious results. Although, there was no bloodshed or heads flying about, you can definitely say that Gamanians did their best in every sense!

Gamania Game Show

Gamania hosted the first and very own Gamania Game Show! The exhibition was neck and neck with other world renowned game shows like E3 or TGS. Media from around the world witnessed Gamania’s Love to Play spirit and experienced the originality of Gamania’s self-produced games. They know we have what it takes to develop diverse digital entertainment! 

Marching to the World: Gamania’s Debut Exhibition in Europe—Gamescom

Gamania has taken a huge step forward to becoming a world recognized brand! Gamania made debut appearance at the biggest game show, Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Using B2B to introduce Gamania’s fruitful results on games and animation to media and European game companies, Gamania successfully left a lasting impression as well as creating new opportunities for exchange and collaboration. 

Two Tigers Animation

Gamania and SOFA Studio jointly founded the animation company, Two Tigers. Gamania’s originality combines with SOFA Studio’s technology and talents, resulting in a digital entertainment and animation kingdom of international scale that showcases the immeasurable creativity from Taiwan. 

Operation Revolution

beanfun! Membership Transfer 

Upgrading our existing GASH members to beanfun! members was a daunting task. To provide players with better service, the operation team spent nearly a year to finish the overall upgrade. From now on, players only need a set of account and password to enjoy all games available at Gamania. 

GPRS  Gamania Product Rating System

Gamania’s decision making mechanism was up a notch by introducing Gamania Product Rating System which allows Gamania to review and evaluate agent products. Through a series of internal testing, review and rating, we could evaluate whether the new product is apt for the market more objectively and comprehensively. 

Area-51

Area 51 seeks to quantify players’ testing to understand their level of satisfaction about the game and the percentage of market acceptance in an objective way. It analyzes and fine-tunes the products to help operation units to create the next Super Star!

CS online 1st Campus Cup National Elite Competition

To boost CS Online’s momentum and to attract more players, operation unit in Taiwan created a professional competition of international standard with highest cash prize and most participated players in Taiwan. Players who are into shooting games can show everyone what they’ve got and earn a chance to moving onto international competitions to battle with other foreign players.

Sharing is Gamania’s culture! Research and develop games is a knowledge-intensive work that requires expertise from various professional fields. Gdex aims to become the biggest and most important R&D event in Gamania. Through series of game trend, technology sharing sessions, GDEX seeks to empower Gamanians with knowledge, creativity and R&D strength. 

UXLAB at GHQ

Gamania’s secret weapon UX LAB activated! UX LAB is a place for experts to observe and analyze user behaviors. We come to understand players’ real thoughts about game interface through research and surveys. The new analyze the data, transform them into language that developers can understand and help them to create a dream game that meet players’ expectation. 

Self-Produced Games Full Throttle 

Gamania has launched over a dozen to self-produced games this year. It is expected that this year’s self-produced game will exceed 10% and we’re one step closer to our goal of 50-60% within 5 years’ time! Four games are said to be the rising stars and have made their appearances on GGS, Core Blaze, Langrisser Schwarz, Tiara Concerto and Dream Drops. Our strength in producing games is getting stronger with time.

Re-opening of Gama Island in GHQ

We seek to constantly better ourselves which is itself a form of revolution! Feeding Gamanians, upgrading gama island is our aim. We now provide more variety of food and beverages, creating spacious and comfortable environment and great vibe. What’s more, the place is more than just an energy supply station for the body but also for the soul. Providing exhibitions and exchange platforms, gama island is even more fabulous after the transformation. 

Group Complete Makeover

With the organizational reconstruction, brand center initiated a grand task of integrating the image of head quarter and subsidiaries in 2011. From stationary supplies to spatial image, Gamanians can now distinctively feel the difference. The first wave of such grand transformation in 2011 includes: corporate jackets, T shirts, caps, I.Ds, business cards, mugs and tote bags.
