By Standford d. school
The Stanford “d. school” led by IDEO co-creator David Kelly has interdisciplinary students and professors majoring in engineering, medical, business, law, social studies and education. The d. school is working with the University to re-imagine the experience of learning & living on-campus in collaboration with corporations such as Visa and Google. Its students learn this process together, and then personalize it, internalize it, and apply it to their own challenges.

Tool Recommendation: IDEO Method Card
IDEO Methods Cards is a collection of 51 cards issued in 2003. Each is used to provide a different way of approaching a design project. The one thing that all of the cards have in common is that they are all human-centered methods, and designed to inform specific initiatives. Inspired by player cards, there is also four classifications to the methods cards: Ask, Watch, Learn and Try. The tools inspire new ways to evoke empathy and lead to solving problems from the user’s point of view.
