Passion and Patriotism in Chinese History
《1911》
1911 is an epic historical drama based on the founding of Republic of China when nationalist forces and idealists led by Sun Yat-Sen overthrew Qing Dynasty. The movie was made in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Revolution of 1911 (a.k.a Xinhai Revolution) and coincidentally is the 100th film of actor Jacky Chen who played the main character, Huang Xing in the film.
