Gamania officially turns 20 this year. Has everyone noticed how Gamania has become more mature and more willing to challenge the limits of work and fun? From its start in games to the recent call to become a flagship Internet company, such a transformation is the “New Gamania” created by all Gamanians together. 2015 is a milestone that Gamanians can feel proud of and it is the year when the new Gamania will take on new challenges. G!VOICE has therefore interviewed veteran and new Gamanians to see what they think about the New Gamania. They were also asked to make a new year’s resolution.

GTW-GOBU-Gme Chen | When I joined Gamania in 2008, I discovered that Gamania included not only the core online game business but has also added other online businesses such as digital entertainment. It also added mobile game development, crowd funding, video platform and e-commerce in recent years. Gamania has continued to grow even stronger over the last 20 years. I am proud to be a Gamanian in a company that everyone envies! My goal this year is to read 24 books to improve my coping skills and become more proactive! |
GTW-GOBU-Buidavid Lee | Since I first joined the company, I’ve seen how Gamania strives to entertain the masses. From being the leading brand in online games, developing our own products and providing mobile device services, we have continued to refine our entertainment value. By looking at Gamania’s track record of change, we can see that Gamania has always been super cool and committed to cultivating young Gamanians! Now that we are becoming an Internet company, this means Gamania will expand into new horizons and we can be even more creative! |
GHQ-BR-Eva Lee  | Since I joined Gamania, I’ve noticed that Gamania has continued to run even faster and broader. Gamania turns 20 this year and is now ripening into an Internet company. This has filled me with imagination for a future where Gamania will become better, smarter and everywhere! For the New Year, I hope I can join Gamania in going forward into an even greater future! I also hope I can stay true to my resolution to be true, be you, and be kind. |
GHQ-CSO-Yoyo | After moving over to WeBackers, I’ve discovered that unlike my previous role at Gamania of providing strategic support, a new company is directly exposed to the challenges of the market and revenues. New Gamanians on the New Gamania
GHQ-SMO-CIT-Saty | When I came to Gamania, I discovered that it wasn’t all that different from what I imagined. The benefits are good, the corporate culture is very lively, there are a lot of employee activities and the job skills required very varied. My wish for this year is that Gamania can become even stronger and more people can see Gamania’s style of aesthetics; to achieve a perfect balance between work and family, and the little Gamanian at home can become a happy member of the GamaGarden! |
PLS-TW-PB-Jack  | My first contact with Gamania was through Lineage. It was there during my fun student years and even when I was overseas, I must admit that before I joined the company, I still thought that Gamania was about online games. Later on, I discovered that Gamania is a company that is developing in multiple areas. It felt like anything is possible in this company! Gamania is now set to become an Internet company so, hopefully, it can become Taiwan’s equivalent of Google and Tencent. My hope for 2015 is that the company will make a lot of money and hand out more bonuses to everyone. so we can all have a great new year! |
GHQ-SMO-Justin  | When I joined Gamania, it was pretty much what I thought it would be. The employees however were on the whole more interested in health and exercise than I expected. This was great! Now that Gamania is 20 years old, it makes me feel very hopeful. I think this is a good time for Gamania to become an Internet company because expanding into new areas will keep us young and fresh. For 2015, I wish to stay cheerful in the face of all challenges and trials. Nor should I let success go to my head! Give all the glory to God. |
GHQ-CSO-Ariel  | I’ve heard of Gamania before I came to the company but I didn’t know the first thing about it because I didn’t play games. I am certain that the current transformation will no doubt run into other people like me. It might take some effort and time to make people understand. When I came to WeBackers, I encountered many creative proposals and met teams that I didn’t have a chance to meet before in my previous workplace. For 2015, I hope I can broaden my horizons so my life and Gamania can both become more colorful! |
