About Author  

Hideko Tsuruoka  

Hideko Tsuruoka is currently the CEO of The Legend Hotels & Trust.  

Upon university graduation, she worked in a mega circulation and distribution company for a year, achieving a sales record of 20 employees’ worth on her own. She also took positions such as business planning and HR planning in the same company.   

After the first company, she turned to foreign invested consulting firm, foreign invested pharmaceutical company, amusement park and many other mega manufacturing companies, software companies and trading companies.   

She founded Cyber Brains, a market research and marketing consultancy company in 2000. Later on, the company was merged and acquired by Raketen, a renowned Japanese online company and the title was officially changed to Rakuten Research in December 2005. To realize her dream of creating a ‘legendary hotel’, she founded ‘The Legend Hotels Trust’ in Marcy, 2006, and took the role of CEO. She is a popular female entrepreneur, hosting forums such as ‘Hideko Tsuruoka Classroom‘ with various topics, well respected by government offices, financial institutions, manufacturing industry, service industry and colleges.
