Gamania Support Group: GJP, hang in there!

Last month, the unprecedented March 11 mega-quake in Japan shocked the whole world. Since then, everyone has been praying for Japan and its people. Gamanians have been following the update ever since they heard about the news. Quite a few of them even tried to acquire local status through Lync system.

Fortunately, colleagues in Japan were quick to react to the disaster and everyone was safe. However, facing arduous challenges in the post-quake Japan isn’t easy, we’re sure that everyone can get back on their feet swiftly and courageously. G!Voice editor team invited Gamania Support Group which consists of CEO, Albert, COO from respective regions and Joyce, COO of Playcoo to show their sincere support and good wishes for GJP. We hope that GJP can feel the warmth and support sent from Group and know that we have their back.

Gamania Support GroupAlbert, CEO of Gamania Group

I was shocked to hear such tragedy took place in Japan and feel the loss and sorrow for the Japanese people. Fortunately, all staff in GJP and their families were unscathed. Everyone was impacted by the quake, but GJP reacted to it in a mature manner: no one left their posts without approvals. We hope that Japan could swiftly rebuild from this calamity and shake off from the shadow of radiation. Japanese are strong and steadfast, that’s a quality that everyone should learn and acquire.

Group will initiate “Disaster Response Measures” program in the future, inviting experts to design courses for Gamania and carry out professional drills in respective offices. I’m asking all colleagues to take it seriously. I’m also hoping that we could establish our companies as prioritized shelter. This time, Group shipped many necessities to Japan promptly in case of further disastrous events and ensure our colleagues that they will be properly sheltered and taken care of in the event of an emergency.

GTW & EST COO Vincent: We’re very worried and concerned to hear that such calamity took place in Japan. GJP colleagues are like our family in Japan. All staff from GTW & EAST care and support you guys and we believe that you could make it through, hang in there!

GUS COO David: I’ve always had a special feeling for Japan so when I saw the news I was very worried. However, after I witnessed how people in Japan dealt with the difficulty with calmness, I felt much relaxed and learned tremendously from them. Please hang it there, our colleagues in Japan, because you have Gamania around the world to back you up, rest assure!

GEU COO Wiliiam: ガンバレ 日本 & GJP!

GCN COO Ronald: When I saw the news I was very shocked because I’ve personally stayed in Japan for a period of time so I feel greatly for Japan. I’m glad that our colleagues in GJP are ok. On behave of GCN, I’d like to give you the morale support: Go Japan! Go GJP!

GHK COO Yaling: We witness the calm and perseverant national character of Japanese people after the massive quake. We believe that Japanese and staff in GJP could turn a even more prosperous new leaf. People in Taiwan and colleagues from Gamania shall extend their warmest hands to help you go through the challenge.

Playcoo COO Joyce: Life could be like a rose garden or a living hell, it all depends on how we choose to look at it. This time, let us hold hands and face the calamity together. Let us welcome the light after the darkness and irrigate the magnificent rose garden with our hearts.

Fundation COO Simon: Dear GJP partners: The massive quake may have caused tremendous damage but I’m sure it cannot move your faith and caring souls for one another. Even though I couldn’t imagine or personally feel how devastating the impact may be afer I saw the news through media, I can see the determination that you’ve pledged to guard your family and rebuild your hometown. For that, I solute you!   I truly wish all GJP partners and families safe and healthy, may God bless Japan!!

Support from GHQ:   Two weeks after the March 11 earthquake, Group has donated money through Red Cross Japan, hoping to extend a helping hand for victims to rebuild their home. Meanwhile, GHQ also purchased emergency necessities including masks, cans, dry food, heating pads, flashlights and batteries that are desperately needed in Japan and sent the parcels to GJP through international currier. GHQ hoped that these delivered goods can be seen as a sign of keen support for GJP.

Kiyoshi Asai, GJP COO’s message to Gamanians worldwide:    I know the colleagues from Gamania must have worried sick about us in Japan. We’ve received lots of support, encouragement and donation, I couldn’t thank you all enough.    The mega-quake in the north-eastern area of Japan took many lives and caused much damage. The nuclear power plant was severely affected and is still in danger, however, the situation gradually stabilized. Tokyo has resumed its business as usual and so has GJP.

Even under such calamitous disaster, there was no one man in GJP that left for his/her own good. We received a great deal of encouragement and aids from GHQ. What moved us the most was that two weeks after the quake, Albert personally flew to Japan to cheer us up! After this disaster, I had a deeper understanding of Gamania’s resolute side and the warm side.

The task for GJP now is to become an online game brand that can encourage Japanese people to stand up on their feet again. We hope you could all look forward to GJP’s comeback!
