No matter what your dreams are, “Gollywood” will fulfill your celebrity dreams, turning you into Gamania’s Super Star! This is the theme of Gamania’s annual year-end banquet – “The Night of Gollywood.” On the night of January 6, 2012, with a cold front over Taiwan the temperature outside is freezing, inside the NTU Stadium in Taipei, however, it is as hot as cheerful as can be. With colorful lights everywhere, lighting up the entire night sky, and the atmosphere of happiness and enjoyment will drive everyone to have fun and party all night!
With all the characters from “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Chicago,” and “Moulin Rouge” …..etc., the NTU Stadium is suddenly star struck, with all of the celebrities you can think of walking the red carpet. But if you look a little closer, all of these “celebrities” are actually dressed up in costume by Gamanians. The most unique aspect of Gamania’s year-end banquet is that all of the performances are done personally by Gamanians. All Gamanians, both small and large, enthusiastically participate in this yearly event. During the period before the year-end banquet, you can see Gamanians rehearsing all over the Gamania Group building. Everyone works hard to rehearse, regardless of the difficulties, only in hopes of providing a good performance for their fellow Gamanians. This is also why Gamania’s year-end banquet is always filled with passion and enthusiasm, with the people on-stage performing will all their hearts, and the people in the audience roaring in support for their fellow colleagues – which is a display of the sense of unity and vitality present in all Gamanian’s hearts and minds.
Upholding their natural playful personality elements, Gamanians show off their creativity, thinking up many witty tricks and postures, surprising and wowing the audience with almost every move in their performances.
