Gamania’s popular game, “Maple Story” announces today (1st) that from today onwards until 27th March, it will be collaborating with the iconic anime, “Evangelion”. In this collaboration, Aliens from “Maple Story” summons “Evangelion”‘s Angels by mistake, thereby causing a chaos of invasion at the main village at the world of “Maple Story”. Players will team up with “Evangelion”‘s pilots like Shinji Ikari, Rei Ayanami and Soryu Asuka Langley, to complete missions in order to protect the world of “Maple Story”. “Maple Story” is launching a series of limited quests for the collaboration. Players will earn “EVA Coins” upon completion of the limited quests, with which players can use to trade for “Evangelion”-limited items such as the “EVA-01 Chair” and “Title of Secret Service NERV” in the Coin Shop. On 1st March, 2018, “Maple Story” is launching its first cross-over event with anime “Evangelion”. In order to successfully invade the world of “Maple Story”, the Aliens tried to summon a “powerful being”. But the laboratory incident creates an inter-dimensional rift that brings “Evangelion”‘s pilots and the Angels they are fighting right into the world of “Maple Story”. This time, “Maple Story” players will team up with “Evangelion”‘s Shinji Ikari, Rei Ayanami, Soryu Asuka Langley and more, to fight against the 4th and 6th Angel. Players will also need to help the “Evangelion” pilots to return to their world. During the collation, players can complete quests such as “Angel Invasion”, “Dr Kim’s Quest” and “Evangelion Pilots’ Quest” to interact with “Evangelion”‘s main characters, and to take aim with the powerful “Positron Sniper Rifle”. Players will earn “EVA Coins” upon the completion of the limited quests, with which players can use to trade for “Evangelion”-limited items such as the “EVA-01 Chair” and “Title of Secret Service NERV” in the Coin Shop.
