“Women put on make-up for their/others’ pleasure” has long been the basic element for cosmetic advertising. Make-up commercials often adopt the form to provide women with a sexy and beautiful imaginary space. However, this winter Christian Dior abandoned the popular big-cast-small-film form, ridding of sexy celebrities’ endorsement and going for a game that provokes the pure desire to “play doll-up make-up game.” New commercial, Dior Games evokes that little girl in every woman—the one that jump and scream to fight for older brother’s video games. Therefore, the spirit of having fun has been re-summoned. Dior tactfully combined its

What is it that brings the customers back for more in the shopping website? Taking Yahoo and PChome’s shopping channels for example, Yahoo has more online shops than PChome. There is a complicated emotional relationship involved in all this. Humans are emotional animals who think which is precisely why this certain kind of emotion maintains the relationship between the product and the customers, making a customer to identify with the product. This is the same emotional commitment we wish to see a user have for our web pages. Emotion—Behavior Correspondence From psychology’s point of view, emotion is the response
If one wants to compare the key differences between digital time and traditional marketing, one of which would be “Consumer Control Right.” Imaging yourself watching TV, whether you like the commercial or not, unless you switch to another channel or go to the bathroom or turn it off, it is almost impossible not to be bombarded by commercials. And it doesn’t even matter if you are the target customer of such product. Compared this to internet browsing, you may have spent the whole day on the web but somehow you have not seen a single ad. This is not

“Have you been to Zara yet?” That the new greetings for people in Taipei city. Unlike Uniqlo’s permeating advertisements occupying the surface of buses, indoor and outdoor advertising space, ZARA’s only visible advertisement was the lights in the shape of ZARA logo in 101 building on its opening day. Have you ever gone on a blind date? I’ve never been one but I’ve heard many people have. The purpose of blind date is to find a suitable mate. However whether the blind date would actually work doesn’t depend on first impression; nor on the intoxicating moment where both people have sparks in the air or butterfly in the stomachs; nor based on matchmaker’s torrent of compliments like a host selling a product on a shopping channel. Whether or not the blind date would work lies in the actual person, what his/her value is. Which is his worth? His

Introduction Game companies have always focused considerable effort on interpreting players' feelings and thoughts regarding their games. Current solutions mostly consist of quantifiable market research methods such as surveys, in-depth interviews, or focus groups. While these methods may extract information about player opinion and satisfaction after playing the game, there are hardly any instinctive tools which allow immediate measurement of player responses during game play. Perhaps psychophysiology, which has been applied in other industries for some years, will provide a suitable method to aid us in correctly interpreting player responses so that we may improve the user experience.

▲(Source of picture:http://polwig.com) You looked at yourself in the mirror on January 1st, beginning to make a list of new year resolutions such as shake off 3 kg (and even bought a new pair of running shoes for it), life is supposed to unfold as the way you planned. Everything seemed so wonderful in your imagination! January 2nd, your only exercise was lying on the couch, your new running shoes never touched the road. This is a common scene in the beginning of the year. The new beginning motivates us but we are also easily be
(Photo source:http://thecubiclesurvivalguide.blogspot.com/) I don't know if you know anybody like this, who will sometimes say, "I've just thought of a fantastic commercial script. If I could shoot a commercial for this brand, I would shoot it this way..." And then he will ask you in a very serious manner if you think his script is incredible too. These commercial ideas that your friends love so much are often humorous and very "creative". However, "there should be a standard for how good an idea is, and not just an subjective opinion". I personally feel that the key to a good
