Dramatize このテーマを書き始めたとき、タイトルは「ドラマチック」でした。しかし、書いていくうちに、ずっと袋小路にはまってしまいました。愚かにも大きなケーキを自分にぶつけているような感じです。痛くもなく、楽しそうだと思い込んでいたものの、とてもうろたえていました！ 書きながら修正し、修正しながら書いていました。ドラマチック、シネマチック、物語性、劇場型、それらの言葉はよく使われていますが、厳格な芸術的定義も持ち合わせた言葉には、死ぬほど苦しめられました！私は平凡な人間です。そのため、専門家ぶっているという疑いと、虚勢を張っていると言われることを避けるため、1つの出口を見つけました。それは、Let’s Talk About "Dramatize" 広告を「劇化（Dramatize）」するというのは物語を語る方法の1つです。数年前に金城武が出演したエリクソンモバイルのCM「聞こえない音」、最近ではA.S.O革靴の「真実の愛を支える」もその1つで、CMで伝えたいコンセプトを劇化して、視聴者をまるで泥沼に踏み込んだようにどんどん深みにはめます。演劇的方法でも、ドキュメンタリー的方法でも、あるいは思いを告白する方法でも、ドラマチックな緊張感を持ったあらすじは、ターゲットの消費グループを簡単にワナに落とすことができ、消費者が抜け出られないようにします。あるいは、ワナで人の心を買うと言うこともできます。 ワナというと、少し後ろめたい感じがして、まるでコマーシャルに携わる人は皆とても腹黒いように聞こえます…A.S.O革靴のその新しいCMについて話しましょう。革靴は、一般的に機能性や流行性を売りにします。もちろん感情、さらには愛情も売ることができます。A.S.OのこのCMは、消費者に「革靴をお父さんにプレゼントしよう」「新しい軽高靴の3大特徴は･･･」とあからさまに訴えておらず、マインドコントロールの台詞も使っておらず、言葉を繰り返して商品の押しつけてもいません。そのドキュメンタリーに似たCMは、角度を変えて、「男のロマンとは？」を見せてくれます。 完全版の240秒のCMでは、主人公は黙々と一週間歩きます。主人公は純粋で単純な上に、外観も平凡なものです。それは、中間層の消費者グループを十分に表しています。CMが始まって1分40秒まで、主人公がその長い道を歩いていることを伝えています。そこで取り上げるべきことは、映像に靴がほとんど出ていないことです。クリエイターたちは、「商品をこんなに早く出さない方がいい」とクライアントをなだめるのにずいぶん苦労したことでしょう。 物語の種は、深く埋められておらず、愛のために歩いていることはすでに予想できたことで、「なるほど」という感じもありません。そして、ドキュメンタリーに似た方法は、うそか誠かは重要ではありません。しかし、多くの視聴者は、私と同じように痺れたことでしょう…ヒロインが「どうしてここにいるの？」と話したあとに主人公が跪くと、ヒロインは笑みから感動の涙に代わって、主人公が拙くプロポーズします…私は体も心も痺れて、目頭に涙が溢れ出しました。私は彼のような勇気がなく、あんなに何日も歩いていませんが、プロポーズした時の気持ちを今でも覚えています。 視聴者がドラマに感動して、CMの任務は果たされました。コマーシャルの最後に、クライアントの商品とフレーズが痺れを切らしたかのように現れたのは、雰囲気を壊してしまいとても惜しいことですが、それでも構いません。クリエイターはすでにクライアントのために視聴者の心を勝ち得て、ブランドイメージが再び消費者に認知されたのです。最後のあのコピーは直接的で少しひどいものの、クリエイターもクライアントを安心させる必要があるのです。 劇化で人の心を買うのにはある程度時間をかけることが必要ですが、効果は抜群です。 https://youtu.be/QLXg4HB1ZBg ------------------------------------------- 筆者について Bruce 国内外でテレビCM製作、映画配給、劇場マーケティング、電通北京事務所クリエイティブコンペチーム、ガマニア内部ディレクターに携わる。現在は株式会社ガマニアデジタルエンターテインメント商品開発部課長(セクションマネージャー)。 -------------------------------------------
